New Pitch and Putt - Kiwanis Park, Battle Ground WA

With the preliminary approval of the Battle Ground Parks Department, I am going to have 4-5 baskets installed at Kiwanis Park as a small pitch and putt course. This will be approximately 10 holes with a variety of shot shapes and distances. 

If enough funds are raised, I want to also order 150 custom stamped discs to give to neighbors of the new pitch and putt course. I believe that to grow the sport we need to have more casual baskets/pitch and putt courses to give new players a place to practice while not being on a full course.

This is the first of many future projects, assuming this goes well. My goal is to install more small courses (and 9-18 hole courses) around the Clark County and grow Disc Golf. 

 

 

Below is the proposed budget, which is subject to change depending how much is raised, lead times, and other factors. 

Budget:

5 MVP Portal Baskets - $450 each, $2,250 total (basket type subject to change)

Misc install supplies (concrete, tools, etc) - $100 total

Signage materials (bulletin board, hole signs, etc) - $250 total

Subtotal: $2,600.00 less taxes

Optional if enough is raised - 150 discs for neighbors with a custom stamp - $1,500

Subtotal with add options - $4,100.00 less taxes
